Why I created a Substack
Why I created a Substack
I started this company in 2017 and it failed. Something happened though... I started writing online and just never stopped. I found my voice and an audience that wanted to hear what I had to say. I was able to build a community of engaged readers who appreciated my work. And that's when I realized, there's power in writing online.
So, why Substack? Why now? Well, Substack provides a platform for writers to share their work with the world and get paid for it. It's a place for creators to build their audience and create sustainable businesses around their writing. And that's something I'm passionate about.
I believe that Substack has the potential to change the way we consume information online. Instead of being bombarded with ads or clickbait, we can choose to support the writers and creators whose work we enjoy. We can pay them directly for their hard work, and in turn, they can continue to produce the content we love. It's a win-win for everyone involved.
So, if you're open, I hope you'll consider supporting my work on Substack. I promise to bring you thoughtful, well-researched writing on God, music, and popular culture. And if you're not into that kind of thing, no worries! There are plenty of other great Substacks out there for you to enjoy. Thank you for reading and cheers to the future of online publishing!
